Chesser Resources (ASX:CHZ) is an ASX listed Company with a registered office in Brisbane (Australia) and a regional office in Dakar (West Africa). Chesser is actively exploring for gold in Eastern Senegal within the highly prospective Kédougou-Kéniéba Inlier (“KKI”), which straddles the borders of Senegal and Mali. Modern exploration for gold in Senegal only commenced in 2003, with the introduction of a new Mining Code. As such, exploration and discovery of multi-million-ounce orogenic gold deposits and the development of world-class gold projects had been confined to the Mali side of the KKI.
